My son is 15 and he had macrocospical hematuria when he was 8. After that we have been checking and sometimes a microcospical hematuria appears. The Dr. have done several sonograms, blood and urine test, and they didn't find anything important. The Dr. doesn't want to do a biopsy because the amount of blood found in the urine during these years was very little. But I still do not have a diagnostic. I'm worry about the damage that this can cause in the future. I have the feeling that the doctors are wasting time, but they told me that the treatment for some kidneys' dissease is too aggressive and in my son's case it is no necessary. Anybody has a similar problem? Tell me what kind of treatment are you having so I can compare. Thank you in advance.
